Neumann U87 Microphone
The Neumann U87 is arguably the best known and most widely used studio microphone in the world (for good reason). It has been used for vocals on countless hit records! The U 87 Ai condenser microphone is a large diaphragm microphone with three polar patterns and a unique frequency and transient response characteristic. A distinctive design and legendary Neumann sound make this mic a must-have for pro studios. The U 87 is known for its unique frequency and transient response characteristics which deliver a smooth natural sound with a variety of source material. The U 87 Ai is used as a main microphone for orchestra recordings, as a spot mic for single instruments, and extensively as a vocal microphone for all types of music and speech. The easy-to-recognize U 87 is a classic!
Shure SM57 Microphone

RODE NT1-A
The RODE NT1-A has become an industry standard; delivering the warmth, extended dynamic range, clarity and high SPL capability usually only featured by some of the most expensive microphones. It is the world’s quietest studio microphone. The NT1-A is just at home in front of a world class vocalist as it is in front of a guitar cabinet. Acoustic guitars sing through the NT1-A, and the 137dB SPL prevents overloads no matter what the sound source. The low self noise ensures that even the faintest whisper will be captured with exceptional detail.
Samson CL2 Match Pair Microphone
Featuring gold sputtered diaphragms to offer incredibly high definition and detail without shrill high end. Very life-like and warm, the CL2s are ideal for recording or miking orchestral instruments, acoustic guitar, piano, choirs, overhead miking of drums and cymbals and of course, vocals. Samson CL2s are true capacitor condenser mics that feature a high pass filter and a 10dB pad. Providing maximum flexibility for a variety of applications was one of the main design goals. Each CL2 comes with a pair of elements that can easily be detatched to change the pickup pattern to either omni-directional or cardioid. The elements feature three micron, gold-sputtered diaphragms and are designed to handle SPLs of 141 dB (cardioid) and 138 dB (omni).
AKG D112 Microphone
The D 112 has earned a well-deserved reputation worldwide as the best kick drum microphone ever made. Heavy-footed drummers won’t faze it, because the D 112 handles up to 160 dB SPL with no audible distortion. A specially engineered diaphragm with a very low resonance frequency maintains solid and powerful response below 100 Hz, while a narrow band presence rise at 4 kHz punches through dense mixes with little or no added EQ. The result is a kick drum sound that ideally balances precise definition and forceful impact. The D 112 is also an excellent choice for use with bass cabinets, trombones, and other low end instrument and sound sources.
VT 737sp Preamp
The Avalon Vt 737sp Mono Mic Pre/Compressor/EQ is a combination tube preamp, opto-compressor and sweep equalizer, with output level and VU metering. Balanced mic, front-panel instrument DI, and balanced line inputs. Class A preamp uses 2 cascaded, dual vacuum-tube triodes configured with minimum negative feedback. The Avalon Vt 737sp has a high-gain switch, high-pass filter, and hardwire relay bypass. The VT-737sp brings its magic touch to everything in your studio. Run your dullest, most sterile mic through the VT-737sp and you’ll be amazed at how warm and sweet it sounds. This 2-rackspace combo brings a new standard to high-end audio, taking your sound to places you never thought possible and giving you precise creative control. The VT-737 will energize your recordings!
